Numbers of the day

1. the U.S. government had spent $15 billion on a program to fingerprint and photograph visitors at the border, and hadn't caught a single terrorist;
2. oldest man in the world turns 112 today.

I think this just shows that the "terrorists" are smart enough (1) not to let their fingerprints be recorded, and (2) not to transit places where the border security is effective. I'm not sure this necessarily means the government program is bad...perhaps it means that - however unusually - the program is working to deter bad guys from trying to enter. We may never know.
